Practicing dentistry and helping people in the process have become two of his passions.  He was recently voted one of NJ's Top Dentists in NJ Monthly Magazine's annual survey of over 1500 peers.

Dr. Rajan aspired to a career in dentistry while attending college at Rutgers University and was later accepted to the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in Newark, NJ, where he received a degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.).  Dr. Rajan graduated near the top of his class and earned membership in the national dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU).  This honor is achieved by only a select few each year. Dr. Rajan then completed his residency training at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

Dr. Rajan maintains membership in several professional organizations including the American Dental Association, NJDA, and Academy of General Dentistry.  In addition, Dr. Rajan routinely attends continuing dental eduction courses around the country to help provide the latest techniques in dentistry.

A native of New Jersey, Dr. Rajan was raised in Kendall Park where he was active in sports, music, and later volunteered as an emergency medical technician.  Dr. Rajan currently resides in Warren township with his wife Madhu and sons Ethan and Shane.
